This statement confirms how J.C’s Driving School (referred to in this statement as J.C’s) uses and protects any information that you submit when you use J.C’s services.

J.C’s are committed to safeguarding and protecting your information. If J.C’s asks you for any information then it will only be used according to this privacy statement.

J.C’s may change this policy from time to time in line with legislation and J.C’s advices that you check this page from time to time to be aware of any changes.

For the purpose of Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation 2016, Mark Whitcombe is the data controller of J.C’s.

Like most websites, J.C’s website uses Google Analytics (GA). This data is used to look at the number of people using the site and how they find it and how they journey through the website. It also records your IP address which can personally identify you. Google do not give me access to this.

You may also provide information such as you name, email address and postcode by completing the form on my site or by contacting J.C’s by telephone or email or by commenting on a blog.

J.C’s site does use cookies I order to distinguish you from other users. You are able to disable cookies which will prevent your visit being tracked. Some cookies are essential for the website to work properly.

You can request access to the personal information that J.C’s hold on you and except in limited circumstances when J.C’s are not permitted to do so for legal reasons, will provide this information to you within 30 days.

If you feel the any information that J.C’s hold about you is inaccurate than you are able to ask me to update your information. If you want J.C’s to delete your information then please do so in writing and J.C’s will endeavour to do so unless J.C’s need to keep it for legal or internal business purposes.
